Bi‐directional nasal drug delivery systems: A scoping review of nasal particle deposition patterns and clinical application

open access: yesLaryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, Volume 8, Issue 6, Page 1484-1499, December 2023., 2023
The bi‐directional nasal delivery system provided a more extensive and efficient nasal deposition in the nasal cavity without lung deposition. Several parameters, including particle size, pulsatile flow, and nasal geometry, could significantly influence nasal deposition.

Study on the Effect of Oxidative Jet and Vortex Structure in Fluidic Throat Combined with Thrust Vector Control

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
To examine the impact of oxidative jets on the thrust vector angle, secondary combustion efficiency, and combustion chamber pressure, inert gas (nitrogen) and pure oxygen are injected into the primary flow, which includes combustible components, at various locations in the divergence section and throat using different injection techniques.

Analyses of the Design of Multirows Vaneless Staggered Counter‐Rotating Turbine

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Compared with a conventional turbine, counter rotating turbine has larger thrust weight ratio, shorter axial distance, and higher efficiency. It has been widely used in high‐performance aviation. In conventional counter‐rotating turbine, HPT is located in the front of LPT, and only a stator row can be eliminated.

Experimental Investigations on Leakages in Positive Displacement Machines

open access: yesInternational Journal of Rotating Machinery, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
The clearance gaps in positive displacement machines such as compressors, pumps, expanders, and turbines are critical for their performance and reliability. The leakage flow through these clearances influences the volumetric and adiabatic efficiencies of the machines.
