Assessing second‐price auctions for parcel exchanges in last‐mile logistics
Abstract The rapid growth of e‐commerce has led to multiple carriers operating in the same regions, creating opportunities for collaboration. However, logistics companies typically operate independently, leading to inefficiencies. Horizontal cooperation, where carriers share resources and infrastructure, can improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Abstract This study documents micro‐ to nanoscale observations of primary nebular and secondary parent body iron sulfides in the CR1 GRO 95577. Despite the extensive alteration of the bulk sample, some primary sulfides managed to avoid alteration, having originally formed in the solar nebula during chondrule formation by either fission‐sulfidization or

Histone N(C)-terminal tails play an important role in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation. Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) of histone tails are known to be correlated to distinct states of gene activity, but the molecular mechanism of these ...

Abstract Ageing is associated with loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength (sarcopenia) and disrupted redox homeostasis. Redox signalling is essential for muscle adaptation, yet the mechanisms by which ageing disrupts cysteine‐based regulation are poorly defined. The drivers of site‐specific reactivity and signalling specificity in aged muscle remain

ABSTRACT In response to the increasing volume of parcels, last‐mile delivery innovations are exploring the integration of multiple delivery modes. The most prominent examples are delivery vans that, next to being the base for the delivery tasks of their human drivers, also function as mobile launching platforms for drones or autonomous delivery robots.

BI-AXIAL NEUTRAL AXIS TRACKING FOR CRACK DETECTION IN WIND TURBINE TOWERS
This work concentrates on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of a wind turbine tower. The paper investigates the use of a decision level data fusion based on bi-axial tracking of change in the neutral axis (NA) position for damage detection in wind ...

Experimental Characterization of Mycelium‐Based Composites Under Multiple Loading Conditions
This study examines the mechanical response of mycelium‐based composites under compression, shear, and tension using mechanical testing and imaging methods. The comparison between unpressed and hot‐pressed specimens shows that hot pressing is associated with higher compression and shear stiffnesses.

Working So Hard: Double‐Stranded RNAs That Can Perform Both Gene Activation and Gene Silencing
Working so hard: STING saRNAs are capable of not only entering the nucleus to induce subsequent target gene upregulation, but can also act as an siRNA to perform gene silencing. Chemical modifications in saRNA guide and passenger strands affect the strength of gene activation or gene silencing activity.

Cross‐Scale Synergistic Optimization for Miniature Meta‐Liquid Hybrid Zoom Imaging
A physically constrained optimization framework links electrowetting liquid lenses and metasurface dispersion engineering to realize a compact visible‐band achromatic zoom imager. By co‐optimizing zoom actuation, meta‐atom manufacturability, and system aberrations, the design achieves 1.5x zoom in a 15.5 mm track and clarifies robustness against ...
