Homomorphisms between \(C^{*}\)-algebras and linear derivations on \(C^{*}\)-algebras
The authors prove the stability of homomorphisms and derivations between unital \(C^*\)-algebras. For similar results see the papers of \textit{C. Park} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 132, No. 6, 1739--1745 (2004; Zbl 1055.47032), Acta Appl. Math. 102, No. 1, 71--85 (2008; Zbl 1148.39028), J. Math. Anal. Appl. 307, No. 2, 753--762 (2005; Zbl 1101.39015)].

Boundary Algebra: A Simpler Approach to Boolean Algebra and the Sentential Connectives [PDF]
Boundary algebra [BA] is a algebra of type , and a simplified notation for Spencer-Brown’s (1969) primary algebra. The syntax of the primary arithmetic [PA] consists of two atoms, () and the blank page, concatenation, and enclosure between ‘(‘ and ...

The C*-algebra of a Hilbert Bimodule
We regard a right Hilbert C*-module X over a C*-algebra A endowed with an isometric *-homomorphism ϕ: A\to L_A(X) as an object X_A of the C*-category of right Hilbert A-modules. Following a construction by the first author and Roberts, we associate to it a C*-algebra O_{X_A} containing X as a ``Hilbert A-bimodule in O_{X_A}''.

Spin Representations of the q-Poincare Algebra [PDF]

Basis Of The Identities Of The Matrix Algebra Of Order Two Over A Field Of Characteristic P ≠ 2
In this paper we prove that the polynomial identities of the matrix algebra of order 2 over an infinite field of characteristic p≠2 admit a finite basis. We exhibit a finite basis consisting of four identities, and in "almost" all cases for p we describe

On upper modular subalgebras of a Lie algebra. [PDF]
This paper is a further contribution to the extensive study by a number of authors of the subalgebra lattice of a Lie algebra. We give some necessary and some sufficient conditions for a subalgebra to be upper modular.

Duality between quasi-symmetric functions and the Solomon descent algebra
The ring QSym of quasi-symmetric functions is naturally the dual of the Solomon descent algebra. The product and the two coproducts of the first (extending those of the symmetric functions) correspond to a coproduct and two products of the second, which ...
