Abstract Background The radiation‐induced abscopal effect (RIAE) is a desirable phenomenon involving radiation‐induced activation of the immune system and regression of metastatic disease after local radiotherapy. However, the majority of patients undergoing radiotherapy do not experience abscopal responses.

Abstract Objective The aim of our study was to determine the factors influencing the evolution of the total volume and bone volume of free flaps commonly used in head and neck surgery, with a 30‐month prospective study, to establish volume change predictions and thus propose a degree of overcorrection to be expected before reconstruction.

This study presents a cancer therapy platform combining nanodroplet‐mediated histotripsy with anti PD‐1 checkpoint inhibition. Activated nanodroplets induce tumor fractionation via low‐frequency ultrasound application, enhancing immune cell infiltration and creating a T‐cell–inflamed microenvironment.
