Epidemiological, Clinical and Allergic Profile of Patients With Dyshidrotic Eczema (Acute and Recurrent Vesicular Dermatitis): Evaluation of the Spanish Registry of Research in Contact Dermatitis and Cutaneous Allergy (REIDAC)

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, Volume 95, Issue 3, Page 286-294, September 2026.
In this exploratory analysis, dyshidrotic eczema demonstrated a distinct sensitisation pattern compared with non‐dyshidrotic hand eczema. The lower proportion of clinically relevant reactions amongst positive patch tests suggests a multi‐factorial and not exclusively allergic background.

Teacher–Student Relationship and School Bonding in Primary School as Longitudinal Predictors of Students' Academic Achievement

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study adopts a multi‐informant (students and teachers) approach to explore the prospective associations of the teacher–student relationship and students' school bonding with students' academic achievement in primary school. The analytical sample consisted of 1349 Swiss children (Grade 1: 48.8% female; Mage = 7.45, SD = 0.38, range 6.06–8 ...

Environmental Modulation of Physiological Parameters in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit After Extracorporeal Cardiac Surgery

open access: yesNursing in Critical Care, Volume 31, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The paediatric intensive care unit exposes critically ill children to non‐physiological environmental stimuli, such as noise, artificial light and thermal instability, which may interfere with physiological regulation and circadian organization. Aim To examine how environmental conditions in the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU),

Characterization of functional metabolites in broccoli by‐product using green extraction with supercritical fluids

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 11, Page 6789-6799, 30 August 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND The present study aimed to valorize broccoli by‐products (leaves and stems) through the extraction of bioactive compounds using supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). The influence of broccoli variety, plant part and maturation stage on total phenolic content (TPC), antioxidant activity and antimicrobial properties was evaluated ...

π‐Extended COUPY Fluorophores for Targeted Near‐Infrared Fluorescence and Lifetime Imaging in Live Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 34, 17 August 2026.
π‐Extended COUPY dyes, obtained by vinylogation of coumarin‐based COUPY scaffolds, shift absorption, and emission deep into the NIR region while preserving compactness and synthetic accessibility. These bright, photostable dyes enable live‐cell imaging, FLIM, and site‐specific peptide conjugation, offering a modular platform for targeted bioimaging and

Rapid Surface Intensification of the Gulf Stream Since 2014

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 16, 28 August 2026.
Abstract The warm, swift Gulf Stream (GS) plays a key role in shaping weather and climate patterns across the North Atlantic. Using 31‐year (1993–2023) of continuous satellite altimeter observations, we identify a pronounced intensification of the free‐flowing GS after its separation from the coast beginning around 2014 and persisting thereafter ...
