[Mandibular first molar with C-shaped root canal system: a two-case report].
Hua xi kou qiang yi xue za zhi = Huaxi kouqiang yixue zazhi = West China journal of stomatology, 2019The root and canal anatomy of the mandibular first molar is highly complicated. A mandibular first molar with a C-shaped root canal system is rare. This article describes two different cases of this system. Case 1 has a complete C-shaped fused root. The root canal is characterized by a mesial lingual root canal and a C-shaped fused root canal.

Dens invaginatus (DI) Oehlers Type 3 classification is a relatively rare phenomenon that occurs primarily in maxillary lateral incisors. It is important to consider this

To analyze the cross-sectional morphology of the root canal system in mandibular first premolars with C-shaped root and measure the minimum canal wall thickness.44 mandibular first premolars with C-shaped root were selected. The specimens were scanned by cone-beam computed tomography and 3D images of each specimen were reconstructed.
