Polychip‐A High‐Throughput Droplet Microfluidics Platform for Interrogating Microbial Interactions

Polychip, a fully integrated droplet microfluidics platform, enables high‐throughput, single‐cell resolution screening of polymicrobial interactions. By seamlessly combining six automated microfluidics operations on a single chip, the system accelerates antimicrobial discovery by 11 to 14 times compared to traditional robotic methods.

Multimodal Imaging Reveals Rapid Catecholamine Uptake and Release by Neutrophils

We show that immune cells (neutrophils) synthesize, uptake, and store catecholamine neurotransmitters such as dopamine or adrenaline. They also release them in response to specific stimuli (serotonin), which we directly visualize using fluorescent nanosensors. Linguistics and dream interpretation in C. G. Jung’s works: The discovery of the method

This article examines the mechanisms of dream interpretation used by C. G. Jung. It is shown that they differ in depth. The surface level of linguistic consciousness is the focus of paronomasic connections between words in dream descriptions.

Generation of Probabilistic Bits by Exploiting Orthogonal Spin Currents in Magnetic Trilayers

Fe/Ti/CoFeB trilayers generate orthogonal spin currents that drive stochastic spin–orbit‐torque switching for probabilistic‐bit operation. The switching probability is continuously controlled by the in‐plane magnetic field and drive current, enabling tunable random bit generation.

Carbon Interlayer with Uniformly Anchored ZnO Nanoparticles: Surface‐Energy‐Driven Coble Creep for Practical Anode‐Free Solid‐State Batteries

We used a zinc oxide–carbon composite interlayer (ZnO@C) via the electron‐beam (e‐beam) irradiation method to fabricate a cost‐effective, high‐energy‐density, anode‐free solid‐state battery. Chemical anchoring between the ZnO and carbon enabled uniform nanoscale morphology, mitigating the high surface energy of the ZnO NPs.

Efficient Direct Recycling of Spent Batteries: Integrated Lithiation and Delamination

An integrated process for the delamination and relithiation of spent cathodes, LixNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 and LixFePO4, under open‐air conditions is proposed. The transition‐metal (Ni) oxidation state in the cathode is reduced by the oxidation of diethylene glycol, facilitating relithiation. Glycol aldehyde formation induces 100% electrode delamination.
