C12-Hydroxylation of Digitoxin

Nature, 1957
USING paper chromatographic methods it has been shown that, following digitoxin administration to rats, the urine contains small amounts of unchanged digitoxin together with larger quantities of two cardioactive metabolites previously designated metabolites C and G 1,2. Human urine collected for 12 hr. from normal adults after an oral dose of 1 mgm. of

Angular correlation in C12(n, n'γ)C12 at 14 MeV

Nuclear Physics, 1960
Abstract A method is developed for measuring angular correlation in inelastic scattering of 14 MeV neutrons. Random coincidences are practically suppressed by combining time of flight and fast coincidences techniques. Angular correlation has been measured on the first excited state of C12 and the results are in good agreement with Banarjee and ...

Reverse Micelle Formation of C12-EOx-C12 · 2Br in n-Heptane

Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica, 2007
Abstract With n-hexanol as the cosurfactant, quaternary ammonium Gemini surfactants C12-EOx-C12 · 2Br (x = 1, 2, 3) formed the reverse micelles in n-heptane. The critical reverse micelle concentrations (cmch) were determined using the absorption spectrum method with iodine as the probe.

Graphite trifluoromethylsulfate C12+SO3CF3−

Carbon, 1982
Abstract Graphite trifluoromethylsulfate C 12 SO 3 CF 3 , a new binary graphite salt is formed by the irreversible solvolysis of C 8 SO 3 F in a large excess of trifluoromethylsulfuric acid. The salt is identified as a stage one intercalation compound with a C 0 value of 8.12 A and characterised by microanalysis, epr and 19 F NMR spectroscopy. Both

C12+C12 Fusion Reactions near the Gamow Energy

2007
he fusion reactions C12(C12,a)Ne20 and C12(C12,p)Na23 have been studied from E=2.10 to 4.75 MeV by ?-ray spectroscopy. The deduced astrophysical factor exhibits new resonances at E=3.0MeV, in particular, a strong resonance at E=2.14MeV, which lies at the high-energy tail of the Gamow peak.

Angular correlation study of the Be9(α, n)C12∗ (γ4.43)C12 reaction

Nuclear Physics, 1962
Abstract The angular correlation between the neutrons to the 4.43 MeV state and the γ-rays from this level to the ground state in C12 for the reaction Be9(α, nγ)C12 has been studied at a bombarding energy of 3.35 MeV. The correlations were measured both in the reaction plane and the azimuthal plane at four different neutron detector angles, viz. θn =

TDHF calculation of nuclear molecules from C12 + C12 TO U238 + U238

2008
A review of recent applications of the TDHF method to the problem of determining the dynamics of nuclear molecules is made. Two types of nuclear molecular motion are considered; diatomic and polyatomic. Polyatomic motion involes alpha clusters and diatomic motion is defined by requiring a long-lived well defined neck.

Angular distribution of γ radiation following C12(p1, p2 γ)C12

Nuclear Physics, 1962
Abstract An analysis is made of the angular distributions of the 4.43-MeV γ radiation following C12(p1, p2 γ)C12 in the vicinity of the two resonance peaks at bombarding energies 5.36 MeV and 5.89 MeV. It is shown that the angular distributions of this γ radiation are strongly dominated not only by the two resonance levels ( 3 2 + and 5 ...
