Hydrogen‐Bonding Networks Enabled by Trace Water for Morphological Design in Ternary Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 14, 9 March 2026.
Trace water transforms from an impurity to a design handle for ternary organic solar cells. During solvent evaporation, minimal amounts organize transient hydrogen‐bonding networks that steer component migration and set the morphology. The mechanism enables reproducible morphology locking and identifies a practical co‐solvent threshold near H2O:CF = 0 ...

Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of 3,3′-[ethane-1,2-diylbis(oxy)]bis(5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one) including an unknown solvate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications
The title molecule, C18H26O4, consists of two symmetrical halves related by the inversion centre at the mid-point of the central –C—C– bond. The hexene ring adopts an envelope conformation.

C71 USE OF THE 6–MINUTE WALKING TEST (6–MWT) AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO INCREMENTAL ERGOMETRIC TESTING FOR THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION IN CARDIOLOGICAL REHABILITATION

open access: yesEuropean Heart Journal Supplements, 2022
Abstract   According to the guide lines and statements from scientific societies, the determination of exercise intensity at the beginning of a cardiac rehabilitation (CR) program should include a cardiopulmonary test as the optimal standard and an incremental “symptom–limited” ergometric test (ET) as

Risk of cancer among individuals with a history of bacterial sexually transmitted infections: A population‐based study in Alberta, Canada

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 5, Page 1383-1395, 1 March 2026.
What's New? While previous studies have identified the carcinogenicity of viral agents such as HIV, the role of bacterial sexually transmitted infections in carcinogenesis remains understudied despite them similarly causing chronic inflammation.

Functional polymer materials containing heavy group‐14 elements focusing on germanium and tin

open access: yesSmart Molecules, Volume 4, Issue 1, March 2026.
The synthesis, functions, and applications of the polymers containing heavy group 14 elements focusing on germanium and tin are outlined. Owing to their large atomic radii and weak binding energies, the polymers show unique properties: chromism, luminescence, carrier mobility, and reactivity to produce radials and higher coordinated states.
