Usefulness of Combinations of Vertex-Degree Weighted Path Indices and Elements of a Universal Matrix
The mutually optimized combinations of vertex-degree weighted path indices and the vertex-degree vertex-distance weighted elements of the Universal matrix were applied in the way of TInew = ∑kN×PN(aN,bN,...) + kij×uij(aij, bij, cij).

Universal geometrical scaling of the elliptic flow
The presence of scaling variables in experimental observables provide very valuable indications of the dynamics underlying a given physical process. In the last years, the search for geometric scaling, that is the presence of a scaling variable which ...

Objective Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease characterized by tissue fibrosis, vasculopathy, and immune dysregulation. Our objectives were to quantify the overall and site‐specific cancer risks in patients with SSc compared to the general population, examine temporal trends in cancer incidence following SSc diagnosis, and explore ...

C72: gaudiene, a hollow and aromatic all-carbon molecule
A new allotropic form of carbon is proposed. The molecular structure of a cavernous C72 molecule has been optimized at the density functional theory level. The structure belonging to the Oh point group was found to be a minimum on the potential energy surface.

Constraining the Radii of Neutron Stars with Terrestrial Nuclear Laboratory Data
Neutron star radii are primarily determined by the pressure of isospin asymmetric matter which is proportional to the slope of the nuclear symmetry energy.

Detecting collusion on highway procurement
This paper proposes a procedure to detect collusion in asymmetric first-price procurement. The main objective is twofold. First, to provide a methodology to detect collusion using a structural approach, and second to apply the methodology to field data ...

Probing the equation of state of neutron-rich matter with intermediate energy heavy-ion collisions
Nuclear reactions induced by stable and/or radioactive neutron-rich nuclei provide the opportunity to pin down the equation of state of neutron-rich matter, especially the density ($\rho$) dependence of its isospin-dependent part, i.e., the nuclear ...

From 1990 to 2021, age‐standardized mortality rates and disability‐adjusted life year rates of brain and central nervous system cancer decreased in most regions and countries. The disease burden is generally negatively correlated with the socio‐demographic index level, and health inequalities persist across different countries and regions.

The Impact of the Irrelevant: Temporary Buy-Options and Bidding Behavior in Auctions
With a laboratory experiment, we study the impact of buy-options and the corresponding buy-price on revenues and bidding behavior in (online) proxy-auctions with independent private valuations.
