Schrödinger Equation with the Potential $V(r)=a r^2+b r^{-4}+c r^{-6}$
1998By making use of an ${\it ansatz}$ for the eigenfunction, we obtain the exact solutions to the Schrödinger equation with the anharmonic potential, $V(r)=a r^2+b r^{-4}+c r^{-6}$, both in three dimensions and in two dimensions, where the parameters $a$, $b$, and $c$ in the potential satisfy some constraints.

R&R Are More Holistic Than C&B
Compensation & Benefits Review, 2013R&R is a better term than C&B. This is because C&B has a negative connotation, while R&R is positive. R&R has a historical root. In every culture, religions, we have the evidence of rewards and punishment for workers. In India we have concrete evidence of rewarding good performers, and also punishing the poor performers during ...

A digital compensation bridge forR–Ccomparisons
Metrologia, 2012A novel automatic bridge linking capacitance and resistance has been developed. This bridge with only one 10?nF capacitance and one 10?k? resistance standard, operating at 1592?Hz, is implemented based on digital compensation techniques. The standards are all defined as four terminal-pair impedances.

Enumerating solutions to \(p(a)+q(b)=r(c)+s(d)\)
Math. Comput., 2001Let \(p_i(t)\), \(1\leq i\leq 4\), be a polynomial with integral rational coefficients. The author develops a fast method of finding the solutions of the Diophantine equation \(\sum_{i=1}^4 p_i(x_i)= 0\), \(x\in \mathbb{Z}^4\), and applies his algorithm to exhibit the smallest integer representable as a sum of two cubes of (positive) integers in \(k ...

Permanent magnets based on R-Fe-B and R-Fe-C alloys
Reports on Progress in Physics, 1998A review is given on the basic properties of 2:14:1 hard magnetic phases as well as technological procedures used for manufacturing R-Fe-B and R-Fe-C permanent magnets. First, we analyse the phase diagrams, crystal structure of hard magnetic phases and composition ranges in which these phases form solid solutions, as a result of various types of ...
