CA 125 and CA 19-9 in peritoneal, cyst and amniotic fluids
Medical Oncology and Tumor Pharmacotherapy, 1988The concentrations of the tumour markers CA 125 and CA 19-9 were determined in peritoneal, cyst and amniotic fluids, with particular attention being paid to certain reliability criteria of the assay methods. The antigens were measured in undiluted samples and after several dilutions. A recovery test was also performed and protein content evaluated. The

CEA, CA 19-9, and CA-50 in Monitoring Gastric Carcinoma
American Journal of Clinical Oncology, 1997This study was conducted to investigate the clinical utility of CEA, CA 19-9, and CA-50 in the diagnosis, monitoring, and prognosis of 62 gastric carcinoma patients having either adjuvant or palliative chemotherapy. Patients were divided in two groups: group A included patients treated on an adjuvant basis following a curative resection of gastric ...

Biliary cystadenoma of the liver with elevated CA 19‐9
Liver, 1994ABSTRACT: A case of intrahepatic biliary cystadenoma with mesenchymal stroma is reported. The tumor was associated with strikingly elevated serum and intracystic levels of the tumor‐associated antigen CA19‐9. Two months after surgical enucleation, serum CA 19‐9 levels returned to normal.

Ca-19-9, A new marker for gastrointestinal malignancy
Irish Journal of Medical Science, 1985Ca-19-9 and CEA were measured in serum from patients with a variety of malignancies. Ca-19-9 was elevated in 97% of 30 patients with pancreatic carcinoma and 53% of 15 patients with gastric carcinomas. The main advantage of Ca-19-9 over CEA as a marker for gastrointestinal malignancy is the low number of false positive elevations in patients with ...

Elevated serum CA 19-9 in hepatic actinomycosis
Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2005IntroductionHepatic actinomycosis is a rare disease that shouldbe considered in the differential diagnosis of livermasses. Patients are predominantly immunocompe-tent males presenting with fever, abdominal pain andweight loss. Although the most common radio-graphic finding is a single hypodense mass [1], CTimaging may show one or more low-density ...

The carbohydrate antigenic determinant (CA 19-9) EIA kit (FUJIREVIO INC) was examined both experimentally and clinically. In the basic study, the standard curve showed linearity from to 240 U/ml, and the intra-and interassay reproducibility was good.

[A basic and clinical study of CA 19-9-MP-Mitsui kit for determination of CA 19-9].
Gan to kagaku ryoho. Cancer & chemotherapy, 1995Recently, the CA 19-9-MP-Mitsui kit (MP-kit) by a sandwich enzyme immunoassay using two mouse monoclonal antibodies of C192 and C241 for the determination of CA 19-9 was developed by Mitsui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.. We carried out basic and clinical studies of MP-kit for the serum CA 19-9 in comparison with the Immunoclone CA 19-9 EIA kit (I-kit) which

Dilemma of elevated CA 19-9 in biliary pathology
Pancreatology, 2018Carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) is a tumor marker which has been extensively evaluated and widely utilized primarily in diagnosing and prognosticating pancreaticobiliary malignancies. Levels may be significantly influenced and elevated in cases of benign biliary conditions however, especially in obstructive jaundice, thereby posing difficulty in ...

[Evaluation of CA 19-9 radioimmunoassay].
Gan to kagaku ryoho. Cancer & chemotherapy, 1984A carbohydrate antigenic determinant (CA 19-9) which monoclonal antibody (1116 NS-19-9) recognizes was found by Koprowski et al in 1979. Recently DelVillano et al have developed a forward sandwich radioimmunoassay (RIA) for quantitative measurement of CA 19-9. This CA 19-9 RIA Kit (CENTOCOR) was examined both experimentally and clinically. In the basic
