Urban community gardens showed a high wild bee diversity with 168 recorded species, representing roughly 30% of Germany's wild bees, including threatened species like Osmia mitis and Coelioxys lanceolata. Floral resources, not nesting resources or habitat availability, were the main drivers for wild bee taxonomic and functional diversity.
