Super Coupling Currents in Rutherford Type of Cables due to Longitudinal Non-homogeneities of dB/dt [PDF]
In this paper it is shown that nonhomogeneities in the field sweep rate dB/dt along the length of a Rutherford cable provoke a nonhomogeneous current distribution during a field sweep.

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Experimental prediction of performance by superconducting cables [PDF]
Broken superconductor method of short sample testing makes possible the prediction of the performance of well cooled, stabilized, superconducting cable coils. It yields a field-versus-current curve for a short sample of cable.

This paper presents a novel approach to reducing oxide layers on metal powders using low‐temperature hydrogen dielectric barrier discharge plasmas at atmospheric pressure. Unlike conventional hydrogen‐plasma reductions, the powders do not contact the plasma directly.
