A Temperature Field Based Routing Algorithm in Content-Centric Networking
Content-centric networking(CCN)is a novel network architecture which presents new challenges for the design of routing. Aiming at the characteristics of CCN, a temperature field based routing(TFBR)algorithm was proposed.

ABSTRACT The golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) nests in rock cavities where it accumulates prey bone remains during the breeding season. Because nests can be reoccupied from year to year, these faunal elements can form remarkable bone accumulations and, in the sub‐fossil record, be mixed with assemblages derived from human or other predator activities ...

Research on a real-time receiving scheme of streaming data
Discussing the common scenarios in modern data warehouse systems that need to receive a large amount of streaming data, connect it with the existing data on the disk, and then store it in the warehouse.By rationally setting disk paging and applying cache

Cotton facilitates long‐distance seed dispersal by functioning as nest material for birds
Cotton (Cossypium) fibres, which grow naturally in bolls around the seeds of cotton plants, have been used for centuries to produce fabric. The presumed natural function of cotton is that these lightweight and fluffy fibres may support wind dispersal of the seeds inside.

Joyeux cochons : Cache-cache cochons, William Cochon

Systems of reciprocity in human–ocean relationships: Across time, place, language and culture
Abstract In the face of large‐scale marine environmental challenges, solutions that meaningfully capture the complexity of socio‐cultural and economic factors contributing to such issues—and their solutions—are urgently needed. This scoping review explores examples of reciprocity in human–ocean relationships to inform the conceptual underpinning and ...

ABSTRACT Planetary exploration is rapidly gaining importance within the space research community. Autonomous locomotion of rovers requires consideration of several mobility aspects to ensure safety, including avoiding hazardous areas that can cause the robot to become immobilized in soft soil or damaged in sharp terrains.

ABSTRACT Low‐tech process‐based stream restoration (LTPBR) is increasingly implemented following wildfire, underscoring the need to evaluate restoration outcomes in burned catchments. To help address this need, we measured abiotic and biotic characteristics of a reach that received LTPBR, an untreated reach, and a reach with relict beaver activity that

Strategies for Assessing Post‐Wildfire Geomorphic Resilience in Semiarid Rivers
ABSTRACT We review and summarize diverse components of a catchment that can be monitored after wildfire to assess the geomorphic resilience of the river corridor in semiarid regions. We distinguish upland portions of river catchments from river corridors.
