Synthesis of Polyaniline Nanoparticles With High Surface Area for CO2 and N2 Sorption
Polyaniline nanoparticles (PANI NPs) in emeraldine salt and emeraldine base forms were synthesized with and without HCl to optimize gas sorption. HCl treated PANI ES reached a CO2 uptake of 30.6 cm3/g, while PANI EB exhibited exceptional N2 adsorption (144.4 cm3/g) and the highest reported specific surface area for oxidatively polymerized PANI (70.8 m2/

Interactive and passive mixed reality distraction: effects on cold pressor pain in adults
While interactive distractors are predicted to be more effective in reducing acute pain than passive distractors, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood.

Latent data assimilation with non‐explicit observation operator in hydrology
We design a latent neural mapping in the form of a neural network and integrate this within data assimilation. The resulting approach helps mitigate computational costs while addressing the problem of local corrections due to sparse observations and the lack of an observation operator.

The endangered tri‐spine horseshoe crab (Tachypleus tridentatus), a “living fossil” crucial to coastal ecology and biomedical research, is experiencing severe population declines. Effective conservation requires efficient monitoring, which traditional methods cannot deliver at scale. We develop an integrated UAV deep learning framework tailored to this

ABSTRACT Poorly designed information systems compel employees to find workarounds for the system in order to do their work properly. However, such workarounds compromise the enforcement of organisational governance. In our sense‐making of this specific phenomenon, we considered critical realism as a framework for understanding based on its adoption in ...
