Toward Enhancing Chiro‐Optical and Magneto‐Optical Properties of Magnetic Nanocrystals by Surface Plasmons

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Here, recent progress is highlighted in colloidal magnetoplasmonic hybrid nanomaterials, with a focus on chiral plasmonics. Metal nanocrystals with intrinsic chiroptical features can lead to a combination of chiral plasmonics and magneto‐optics effects when interacting with the magnetic counterpart, offering a foundation for systematically designing ...

Highly Efficient Upconverted Fluorescence from Coulombically Assembled Ion Pair

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A dicationic Os(II) complex paired with two monoanionic fluorophores is designed to enable highly efficient triplet–triplet annihilation upconversion, achieving a remarkable upconverted fluorescence quantum yield of 13% at 785 nm excitation with a record‐low threshold intensity of 5.9 mW cm⁻2, attributed to diffusion‐free acceleration of energy ...

Recyclable All‐in‐One Organo‐Photo‐Auxiliaries Enabling (sp3)C−(sp3)C Coupling Reactions with Diverse Functionalities

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 367, Issue 5, March 4, 2025.
Abstract Photochemical C−C coupling reactions can be tailored to industrial chemical processes and preparations of pharmaceuticals. Recent approaches in this area are limited to using precious transition metal coordination complexes that facilitate light absorption and redox processes with benchtop chemicals. Herein, we propose a paradigm that involves

Automated Transcranial Photobiomodulation in Healthy Rats: Effects on Working Memory and Brain Markers

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Transcranial photobiomodulation (PBM) enhances spatial working memory in healthy rats under both continuous and alternating stimulation protocols. At the neural level, PBM modulates cytochrome c oxidase activity, increases prefrontal and hippocampal synaptic markers, and induces region‐specific c‐Fos expression. These effects suggest improved cognitive
