Haemogregarines were recorded in caimans Caiman crocodilus yacare from Pantanal. This study was carried out in seasonal ponds at the Miranda- Abobral subregion of Pantanal, State of Mato Grosso do Sul, western Brazil, from 1998 to 1999.
