Environmental Microbiology Reports, Volume 17, Issue 4, August 2025.A novel strain of Fusarium proliferatum was isolated from South Calabrian coasts (Italy) and molecularly characterised. Its rice cultures led to the identification of secondary metabolites with antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes, and with antioxidant properties.
