EFFICIENCY OF THE CAPACITY-TYPE SOLAR WATER HEATER WITH THE FLEXIBLE POLYMER ABSORBER.
Energetic indexes of solar capacity-type water heaters with flexible polymer absorbers and different constructions of enclosures using the refined method of calculus were obtained.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

In (Béziau 2001), Béziau provides a means by which Gentzen’s sequent calculus can be combined with the general semantic theory of bivaluations. In do- ing so, according to Béziau, it is possible to construe the abstract “core” of logics in general, where

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Ambient Calculus and its Logic in the Calculus of Inductive Constructions
AbstractThe Ambient Calculus has been recently proposed as a model of mobility of agents in a dynamically changing hierarchy of domains. In this paper, we describe the implementation of the theory and metatheory of Ambient Calculus and its modal logic in the Calculus of Inductive Constructions.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Constructor Subtyping in the Calculus of Inductive Constructions [PDF]
The Calculus of Inductive Constructions (CIC) is a powerful type system, featuring dependent types and inductive definitions, that forms the basis of proof-assistant systems such as Coq and Lego. We extend CIC with constructor subtyping, a basic form of subtyping in which an inductive type σ is viewed as a subtype of another inductive type Τ if Τ has ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

A calculus for the construction of modular prolog programs
Summary: We present a module language for PROLOG based on the theory of modularity underlying the standard ML module system. The language supports the construction of hierarchically structured programs from parametrized components and provides a form of structural data abstraction.
