Synergistic Effects of Solid Electrolyte Mild Sintering and Lithium Surface Passivation for Enhanced Lithium Metal Cycling in All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a synergistic strategy combining mild sintering of solid electrolyte pellets with lithium metal surface passivation, effectively suppressing dendrite growth, and enhancing interfacial stability. This approach doubles the critical current density of symmetric cells (1.1 to 2.2 mA cm−2) and extends full cells cycle life at 1 mA cm−2 ...

Intraday Predictability of Overnight Interest Rates [PDF]

open access: yes
Lee (2001) found the overnight Eurodollar rate in London and the effective Fed funds rate exhibit similar calendar-day effects although the absolute magnitudes are less.

Ultra‐Thin Hybrid Ion Exchange Interlayer for High Performance Aqueous Zn Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An ultra‐thin SPEEK/FCD ion‐exchange interlayer modulates the Zn2+ solvation environment (–SO3−), provides ion‐exchange pathways that homoginized the Zn2+ flux, and via F‐rich chemistry forms in situ ZnF2 that suppresses parasitics and stabilizes the interface; its integrity relieves interfacial stress.

A new mixed multiplicative-additive model for seasonal adjusment [PDF]

open access: yes
Usually, seasonal adjustment is based on time series models which decompose an unadjusted series into the sum or the product of four unobservable components (trendcycle, seasonal, working-day and irregular components).

Calendar effects of the Colombo stock market

open access: yesJournal of Management, 2015
This study examines the calendar effects specially day of the week effects and month of the year effects in the Colombo stock market. The study on the day of the week effect was done based on daily all share price index (ASPI) for the period January 2004 to June 2015 and the study on the month of the year effect employs based on monthly ASPI for the ...

CALENDAR YEAR EFFECT MODELING FOR CLAIMS RESERVING IN HGLM

open access: yesASTIN Bulletin, 2019
AbstractClaims reserving models are usually based on data recorded in run-off tables, according to the origin and the development years of the payments. The amounts on the same diagonal are paid in the same calendar year and are influenced by some common effects, for example, claims inflation, that can induce dependence among payments.

Electro‐Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Composite Cathodes of Sulfide‐Based All‐Solid‐State Batteries: Pathways, Degradation, and Design Rules

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review provides an integrated framework for achieving superior electrochemical performance in sulfide‐based all‐solid‐state batteries. It first delineates mechano‐electrochemical failure modes of cathode active materials and solid electrolytes, then outlines engineering principles for particle morphology, electronic and ionic conduction, and ...

Calendar Effects in the Market of Crude Oil

open access: yesZeszyty Naukowe SGGW w Warszawie - Problemy Rolnictwa Światowego, 2015
This paper investigates calendar effects in the crude oil market using daily data over the period January 4, 2000 to December 31, 2014 for two global oil pricing benchmarks: West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent. Results of performing statistical tests of equality of two means and of equality of two variances reveal the presence of both day-of-the ...

Market Efficiency within the German Stock Market: A Comparative Study of the Relative Efficiencies of the DAX, MDAX, SDAX and ASE Indices [PDF]

open access: yes
It can be implied from the efficient market hypothesis that the more transparent a market is, then the more likely that the market will be efficient. This paper is a study of whether the different transparency standards applied to the different indices ...
