Resolving Oxidative and Corrosive Calendar‐Aging via Electrolyte Engineering for Stable Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A weakly solvating ether solvent, 1,2‐dimethoxypropane (DMP), is proposed for use in localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs) for lithium metal batteries (LMBs). These DMP‐based LHCEs simultaneously suppress lithium metal corrosion and cathode degradation—two interrelated processes that accelerate calendar aging of LMBs.

The impact of financial development on stock market calendar effects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Mestrado em FinançasTendo enfraquecido para algumas amostras, mas persistido para outras, os efeitos de calendário são ainda uma contradição relevante à eficiência de mercado.

Calendar Anomalies, Market Regimes, and the Adaptive Market Hypothesis in African Stock Markets

open access: yesCentral European Management Journal, 2019
Purpose: This paper examines the changing behavior of two calendar anomalies in African stock returns – the month-of-the-year and the intra-month effects – and their implications for the adaptive market hypothesis (AMH).

Upscaling Sodium‐Ion Battery Cells: From Aqueous Processing to Performance Assessment of Hard Carbon|Prussian White Pouch Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the feasibility of scaling up Prussian White (PW)‐based cathode manufacturing at a pilot scale. Through careful PW dehydration combined with optimized aqueous processing, we report the stepwise development of industrially relevant 1 Ah pouch cells and evaluate their performance under various conditions.

Calendar effects in the Tunisian stock exchange

open access: yesInternational Journal of Behavioural Accounting and Finance, 2014
This paper examines daily returns of the stock market index of Tunisia (Tunindex) to prove whether there is existence of calendar effects related to the day of the week, the month of the year, and the semi–month effects. Using both parametric and nonparametric tests, we find evidence of day of the week and month of the year effects.

Breaking the Durability–Power Trade‐Off: Boron‐Directed Faceted O3 Cathodes for High‐Rate Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.

Bayesian stochastic model specification search for seasonal and calendar effects [PDF]

open access: yes
We apply a recent methodology, Bayesian stochastic model specification search (SMSS), for the selection of the unobserved components (level, slope, seasonal cycles, trading days effects) that are stochastically evolving over time.

Degradation Pathways of Silicon‐Based Anodes in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Silicon‐based anodes undergo degradation through five primary pathways: (1) mechanical and structural deterioration of the active material, (2) loss of electrode integrity and electrical contact, (3) mechanical instability of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI), characterized by repetitive fracture and deformation, (4) chemical instability of the ...

Detection and Forecasting of Islamic Calendar Effects in Time Series Data: Revisited [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper is an attempt to revisit the pioneering work of Riazuddin and Khan (2002). A complete business cycle has been elapsed (2002-2010) since their study, so there is need to review the results with additional information.
