A Flexible New Technique for Camera Calibration

IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 2000
We propose a flexible technique to easily calibrate a camera. It only requires the camera to observe a planar pattern shown at a few (at least two) different orientations. Either the camera or the planar pattern can be freely moved.

A versatile camera calibration technique for high-accuracy 3D machine vision metrology using off-the-shelf TV cameras and lenses

IEEE J. Robotics Autom., 1987
A new technique for three-dimensional (3D) camera calibration for machine vision metrology using off-the-shelf TV cameras and lenses is described. The two-stage technique is aimed at efficient computation of camera external position and orientation ...

Calibration of radionuclide calibrators

International Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Biology, 1983
Abstract An evaluation of the efficiency of a radionuclide calibrator as a function of photon energy is given. Difficulties arising at low energies can be overcome by simultaneous measurements of the calibration sources with and without an Fe-absorber.

The future of distributed models: model calibration and uncertainty prediction.

, 1992
This paper describes a methodology for calibration and uncertainty estimation of distributed models based on generalized likelihood measures. The GLUE procedure works with multiple sets of parameter values and allows that, within the limitations of a ...

Calibration

2003
Publisher Summary This chapter describes the development of the calibration model. A table that demonstrates the common methods for reducing large arrays of data to fewer data points is presented. The first-through fourth-order functions are used with either zero or natural y intercepts.

Revised calibration of the geomagnetic polarity timescale for the Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic

, 1995
Recently reported radioisotopic dates and magnetic anomaly spacings have made it evident that modification is required for the age calibrations for the geomagnetic polarity timescale of Cande and Kent (1992) at the Cretaceous/Paleogene boundary and in ...

The remote calibration of radioisotope calibrators [PDF]

open access: possible, 2007
the new calibration technique ‘e-trace’ has been developed by AIST. Using e-trace, measurement equipment in remote place can be calibrated in short time and limited resources. We calibrated radioisotope calibrators of JRIA and NMCC remotely. It was confirmed that the results of remote calibration was consistent with those of former method within ...

Calibration of the ruby pressure gauge to 800 kbar under quasi‐hydrostatic conditions

, 1986
An improved calibration curve of the pressure shift of the ruby R1 emission line was obtained under quasi-hydrostatic conditions in the diamond-window, high-pressure cell to 800 kbar. Argon was the pressure-transmitting medium.
