Dislodgement and aspiration of a tooth during endotracheal intubation in a cat
Abstract A 25‐week‐old Oriental shorthair cat was anaesthetised to perform computed tomography and bronchoscopy. During endotracheal intubation, a deciduous premolar was contacted with the laryngoscope blade, dislodged, and subsequently aspirated into the trachea.

The cats were discharged with broad‐spectrum deworming (with or without metronidazole) as

ULTRACAM photometry of eclipsing cataclysmic variable stars [PDF]
The accurate determination of the masses of cataclysmic variable stars is critical to our understanding of their origin, evolution and behaviour. Observations of cataclysmic variables also afford an excellent opportunity to constrain theoretical physical models of the accretion discs housed in these systems.

Felinic principle and measurement of the Hubble parameter [PDF]
Intelligent life can only appear in Universes, whose physical laws support sufficient complexity to make evolution of intelligent beings possible. Even inside those Universes, intelligent life does not appear randomly, but in parts with realized complexity, e.g. around stars in our Universe.

Introduction Feline calicivirus (FCV) commonly causes upper respiratory tract, oral and ocular infections in species of the family Felidae, with high prevalence amongst domestic cat (Felis catus) populations worldwide. Detection of FCV‐specific antibodies in serum provides evidence of previous infection with FCV and an indication of whether a cat may ...

Feline Calicivirus Infection: ABCD Guidelines on Prevention and Management
Overview Feline calicivirus (FCV) is a highly variable virus. More severe, systemic forms of FCV infection have been observed recently. Infection Sick, acutely infected or carrier cats shed FCV in oronasal and conjunctival secretions. Infection occurs mainly through direct contact.
