Congestion Control Call Admission Control (CC-CAC) Algorithm for Mobile Broadband Networks
Mobile broadband networks are continuously faced with the challenge of limited resources due to the increasing demand for high speed Internet services. To manage these resources, call admission control (CAC) which determines whether or not a connection request should be accepted or rejected is one of the resource management techniques usually deployed.

Insensitive call admission control for wireless multiservice networks [PDF]
We propose a call admission control policy and prove that the CTMC that models the multiservice wireless system enforcing the CAC scheme is reversible and its stationary distribution is insensitive to the channel holding time distribution.

ABSTRACT Gluten‐free regulations require analytical systems that can reliably measure gluten in wheat, rye, and barley, and, in some jurisdictions, in oats across diverse food ingredients and processed foods. Examples include baked goods, fermented products such as beer, and extruded snack foods, where processing can alter gluten extractability and ...

Study on call admission control schemes in 3GPP LTE network [PDF]
Call admission control (CAC) is a process of accepting new calls or handoff calls in a network while regulating the Quality of Service (QoS) of existing or active calls without degrading any call drop. CAC is an RRM technique and directly impacts QoS for

Distributed Call Admission Control for DESYNC-TDMA in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
DESYNC-TDMA is a self-organizing algorithm based on bio-inspired features used to implement a collision-free MAC. It does not require a global clock or other infrastructures, and it automatically adjusts to the number of participating nodes to ensure ...

ABSTRACT Background Co‐existence of multiple cardiovascular‐kidney‐metabolic (CKM) conditions, such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), type 2 diabetes (T2D), and cardiovascular disease, is common. The interconnected nature of CKM conditions emphasizes the need for an interprofessional approach to patient care.
