Medical and Veterinary Entomology, Volume 39, Issue 1, Page 22-32, March 2025.Prediction of the intra‐puparial age of C. vicina was possible based on ATR‐FTIR‐absorption spectra. For age estimation, the full spectral range from 3700 to 600 cm−1 and the use of support vector machines resulted in the most accurate predictions.
