Callogenesis and Organogensis Studies in Some Accessions of Saccharum officnarum L.
The aim of the present study was to investigate the response of three sugarcane accessions viz., S-2003-US-824, S-2003-US-230 and SPF-246 for callogenesis and organogenesis. The genotypes showed high value of callus score ranging 2.37 to 2.7. Genotype S-2003-US-824 was highest callus producer with an average of 2.7 callus score per test tube. Genotypes

Effect of 2,4-D, explants type and cultivar on the callogenesis expression of cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) in Ghana [PDF]
Modern biotechnological applications in breeding programmes for economically-important crops like cassava begins with successful establishment of stable and active callus cultures for somatic embryos which can be genetically manipulated and induced into ...

Callogenesis in root explants of four species of the family Solanaceae after inducing by Agrobacterium rhizogenes [PDF]
Studying explants affected by Agrobacterium rhizogenes shows that in addition to possible formation of hairy roots, it is likely that callogenesis can be induced in these tissues. The T-DNA region of A.

Basal media optimization for the micropropagation and callogenesis of Cannabis sativa L
Abstract Micropropagation of Cannabis sativa L. is an emerging area of research for genetic storage and large-scale production of clean planting material. However, existing protocols were developed using a limited number of genotypes and are often not reproducible. Previous studies reported MS + 0.5 μM TDZ to be optimal for Cannabis micropropagation,

IN VITRO ESTABLISHMENT AND CALLOGENESIS IN SHOOT TIPS OF PEACH PALM
Bactris gasipaes is an important Amazonian culture as the main source of hearts of palm. Techniques of plant tissue culture are promising tools in breeding programs of this culture. The objective of this study was to develop protocols for the in vitro establishment and callus induction in Bactris gasipaes shoot tips.
