An approximate cooperativity analysis by DSC of phase transitions of DPPC-DOCNa dispersions [PDF]
The effect of solute, sodium deoxycholate bile salt (DOCNa), on the cooperativity of ordered-fluid, fosfolipid phase transition has been investigated by determining of the transition widths in multibilayer dispersions of the dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC)-DOCNa mixtures. The DT1/2 values were determined by differential scanning calorimetry.

Fluoride‐Free Molten Salt Hydrate‐Assisted Synthesis of MXene in Air Down to 150 °C
A novel low‐temperature shielded salt (LSS) approach enables the synthesis of MXenes in air at temperatures as low as 150 °C using MgCl2·6H2O/LiCl. This method demonstrates successful etching of challenging MXenes like Cr2CTx and Nb2CTx through the synergistic effects of Li+ ions and salt hydrate phase changes, while eliminating the need for inert ...

Incorporation of lanthanide ions into lead titanate [PDF]
A series of lanthanide, Ln, ion doped lead titanate ceramics, at 2 and 8 at.%, have been prepared with starting compositions Pb1-3x/2LnxTiO3, Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, using a standard ceramic method. Structural, and differential scanning calorimetry, measurements are reported. Doping with La3+ results in a reduction in tetragonality and cell volume;

Development of quality assurance methods for epoxy graphite prepreg [PDF]
Quality assurance methods for graphite epoxy/prepregs were developed. Liquid chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, and gel permeation chromatography were investigated. These methods were applied to a second prepreg system.

A series of ACHPES‐based hydrogels are developed and realizing multiple functions like anti‐fouling properties, alkali‐induced color/fluorescence‐changing ability and strain sensing. Furthermore, the hydrogels show excellent anti‐freezing performance, whose optical, mechanical and electrical properties remain stable at −47.3 °C.
