Camera Calibration and Navigation in Networks of Rotating Cameras
2015Camera calibration is one of the basic problems concerning intelligent video analysis in networks of multiple cameras with changeable pan and tilt (PT). Traditional calibration methods give satisfactory results, but are human labour intensive. In this paper we introduce a method of camera calibration and navigation based on continuous tracking, which ...

Simple pinhole camera calibration
International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology, 1994AbstractA large number of cameras may be modeled quite accurately using the simple pinhole camera model, which may be defined either in terms of camera parameters or by the c matrix (which defines the mapping from 3D points to the image plane). We present formulations of the associated transformations between these two equivalent representations.

Calibration of an Articulated Camera System
2008 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2008Multiple Camera Systems (MCS) have been widely used in many vision applications and attracted much attention recently. There are two principle types of MCS, one is the Rigid Multiple Camera System (RMCS); the other is the Articulated Camera System (ACS).

Calibrating Freely Moving Cameras
18th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR'06), 2006We present a novel practical method for self-calibrating a camera which may move freely in space while changing it internal parameters by zooming. We show that point correspondences between a pair of images, and the fundamental matrix computed from these point correspondences, are sufficient to recover the internal parameters of a camera.

2005
In this paper, a new line-based camera calibration technique is presented. Firstly, the relation between dimensional line parameters and projective line parameters is deduced. Using more than three dimensional lines which are not parallel with each other, the camera intrinsic parameters can be determined by solving linear equations.

Accurate calibration of CCD-cameras
Proceedings 1992 IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2003A basic review of the bundle adjustment with self-calibration is given. The mathematical model, parameter estimation, and quality analysis of calibration and positioning are covered. The calibration procedure, hardware, and testfield of an accuracy investigation with off-the-shelf CCD (charge-coupled device) camera, lens, and frame grabber are ...

Binocular Calibration of Infrared Cameras
2018Infrared binocular stereo vision is one of the focuses in the field of computer vision. A design scheme of infrared camera calibration target is proposed in this paper. The infrared calibration target is designed as a checkerboard layout by sticking square metal sheets on a wooden calibration board.

Visual calibration of reseau cameras
Photogrammetria, 1978Abstract This paper introduces a collinearity model applied to cameras with a recessed registerglas reseau. After a description of goniometers used for the calibration of aerial cameras at Wild Heerbrugg Ltd. and Carl Zeiss Oberkochen, and their standard calibration procedures, the calibration of two such reseau cameras, based on this collinearity ...
