Self-Propelled Motion of the Camphor Float With n-Fold Rotational Symmetry

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
It is known that a camphor particle at a water surface exhibits self-propulsion since it releases camphor molecules at the surface and reduces the surface tension, and the gradient of surface tension drives the camphor particle itself.

Circularly Polarized Luminescent and Melt‐Processable Copper(I)‐Organic Glasses Based on 2,2′‐Bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Homochiral Cu(I) cyanide complexes based on 2,2’‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1’‐binaphthyl (BINAP) form melt‐quenched and desolvation‐derived metal–organic glasses that exhibit circularly polarized thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) at room temperature, enabling processable chiroptical materials.

Flavoprotein monooxygenases for oxidative biocatalysis: recombinant expression in microbial hosts and applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
External flavoprotein monooxygenases comprise a group of flavin-dependent oxidoreductases that catalyze the insertion of one atom of molecular oxygen into an organic substrate and the second atom is reduced to water. These enzymes are involved in a great
