The Campi Flegrei caldera: unrest mechanisms and hazards
Abstract In the last four decades, Campi Flegrei caldera has been the world’s most active caldera characterized by intense unrest episodes involving huge ground deformation and seismicity, but, at the time of writing, has not culminated in an eruption.

Terpenoid Content of the Antarctic Soft Coral
Chemical investigation of the soft coral Alcyonium antarcticum, collected off Terra Nova Bay, resulted in the isolation of two closely related sesquiterpenes, alcyonicene (1) and deacetoxy-alcyonicene (2), along with known terpenoid compounds.

ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of epistemic uncertainties on the seismic risk of a critical transport system, the Campania railway network, during the ongoing bradyseismic unrest at Campi Flegrei, south of Italy. Seismic risk is quantified as the length of the railway requiring post‐event inspection, an operational proxy for service disruption.

ABSTRACT The Campi Flegrei area, one of the most active volcanic regions in Italy, has faced a prolonged crisis, characterized by recurring seismic events. By adopting a psychosocial and community‐based perspective, this study investigates how seismic and volcanic risk perception, perceived severity, trust in institutions and media, and coping ...

Abstract Despite their importance for understanding faulting processes in volcanic environments, the source scaling of volcano‐tectonic earthquakes remains poorly constrained, mainly due to the difficulty of measuring their source parameters. We analyze source parameters such as seismic moments (M0 ${M}_{0}$) and corner frequencies (fc ${f}_{c}$) of ...
