Abstract Purpose To compare residual symptoms, function and patient satisfaction following unrestricted kinematic alignment (KA) versus mechanical alignment (MA) in primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA). It was hypothesized that KA would reduce residual symptoms and improve function and satisfaction.
