This thesis covers the introduction of a controller area network (CAN) to a house trailer or caravan. The past two decades have seen a large invasion of micro-controllers in modern vehicles. This is due in part to the miniaturization and decrease in costs of electronics, but also for the increase of services.

Can bus bootloader for the STM32F407VG
The main objective of this project is to develop a Python application to transfer files in Intel hex format from a PC to a single STM32F407VG microcontroller using Can Bus protocol. The USB-Can adapter/converter used for this purpose is the leaf light HS from Kvaser.
