Solution‐Processable, Ladder‐Branched Polyimides of Intrinsic Microporosity by [4+4] Cycloaddition for Membrane Gas Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An effective post‐synthetic modification strategy utilizing [4+4] cycloaddition is demonstrated to fabricate ladder‐branched polyimides of intrinsic microporosity (PIM‐PIs) with significantly enhanced performance characteristics for membrane‐based gas separation.

Electromechanical Anisotropy in Aligned Nanomesh Electrodes for E‐Skin Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Aligned nanofiber mesh electrodes exhibit direction‐dependent electromechanical responses when strained along or across the fiber axis. This controlled anisotropy enables the same free‐standing device to function as either a high‐sensitivity strain sensor or a stretchable interconnect, offering a breathable and biocompatible platform for skin ...

Multiplexed Luminal Tissue Constructs with Reconfigurable Barriers for Dynamic Modeling of Multi‐Tissue Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study describes the fabrication of arrays of luminal tissue constructs for 3D luminal tissue modeling. An oil or media‐filled reservoir between constructs serves as a liquid barrier or bridge to regulate communication between lumens within the array for modeling multi‐tissue interactions in vitro. Abstract Cell‐lined luminal structures are crucial

The Equivalence of Microlens and Metalens for THz High Spatial‐Spectral Resolution Hyperspectral Imaging with a Large Field of View

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
An ultrabroadband THz microlens with high resolution is presented and fabricated via commercially available 3D printing by transforming the phase profile into a thickness profile. The proposed method enables high‐fidelity THz hyperspectral imaging with high spatial and spectral resolution, representing a cost‐effective and reliable solution.
