The reproductive biology of Ellochelon vaigiensis from the Vietnamese Mekong Delta
Ellochelon vaigiensis is a synchronous spawner, with peaks in reproductive activity from June to October. The length at 50% maturity for females is significantly higher than that for males at all sites and ranges from 10.6 to 19.3 cm. The diameter of the eggs examined for this species exhibited slight variation, from 0.43 to 0.54 mm.
