Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly, 1985AbstractWe have destructively examined the Zircaloy-2 calandria tube which surrounded a pressure tube that ruptured in Pickering Unit 2 Nuclear Generating Station. The calandria tube was in excellent condition and had sustained little damage. The material was hardened by neutron irradiation.
