Nietzsche in Cankar

open access: yesArs & Humanitas, 2020

Ivan Cankar in krščanstvo

IVAN CANKAR MED DOMOVINO IN TUJINO

open access: yesDve Domovini, 2004

Genome editing technologies, mechanisms and improved production of therapeutic phytochemicals: Opportunities and prospects

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, Volume 120, Issue 1, Page 82-94, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Plants produce a large number of secondary metabolites, known as phytometabolites that may be employed as medicines, dyes, poisons, and insecticides in the field of medicine, agriculture, and industrial use, respectively. The rise of genome management approaches has promised a factual revolution in genetic engineering.

The tomato cytochrome P450 CYP712G1 catalyses the double oxidation of orobanchol en route to the rhizosphere signalling strigolactone, solanacol

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 235, Issue 5, Page 1884-1899, September 2022., 2022
Summary Strigolactones (SLs) are rhizosphere signalling molecules and phytohormones. The biosynthetic pathway of SLs in tomato has been partially elucidated, but the structural diversity in tomato SLs predicts that additional biosynthetic steps are required. Here, root RNA‐seq data and co‐expression analysis were used for SL biosynthetic gene discovery.

Quantitative assessment of contrast‐enhancement patterns of the healthy dental pulp by magnetic resonance imaging: A prospective in vivo study

open access: yesInternational Endodontic Journal, Volume 55, Issue 3, Page 252-262, March 2022., 2022
Abstract Aim This prospective in vivo study aimed to optimize the assessment of pulpal contrast‐enhancement (PCE) on dental magnetic resonance imaging (dMRI) and investigate physiological PCE patterns. Methodology In 70 study participants, 1585 healthy teeth were examined using 3‐Tesla dMRI before and after contrast agent administration. For all teeth,

Empagliflozin‐Metformin Combination Has Antioxidative and Anti‐Inflammatory Properties that Correlate with Vascular Protection in Adults with Type 1 Diabetes

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Research, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Background and Aim. Our previous study showed that the empagliflozin‐metformin combination significantly improved arterial function; i.e., it improved endothelial function (measured by flow‐mediated dilation and reactive hyperaemia index) and reduced arterial stiffness (measured as pulse wave velocity and local carotid artery stiffness) in adults with ...

Inactivation of the germacrene A synthase genes by CRISPR/Cas9 eliminates the biosynthesis of sesquiterpene lactones in Cichorium intybus L.

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 19, Issue 12, Page 2442-2453, December 2021., 2021
Abstract Chicory (Cichorium intybus var. sativum) is an industrial crop species cultivated for the production of a fructose polymer inulin, which is used as a low‐calorie sweetener and prebiotic. Besides, inulin chicory taproots also accumulate sesquiterpene lactones (STLs).
