Crystal structure of azido(η5-cyclopentadienyl)bis(triphenylphosphane-κP)ruthenium(II) dichloromethane hemisolvate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2014
The title solvated complex, [Ru(η5-C5H5)(N3){P(C6H5)3}2]·0.5CH2Cl2, displays a typical piano-stool geometry about the RuII atom. The bond lengths and angles of the cyclopentadienyl and phosphane ligands are very similar to that of the unsolvated complex [

Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Rational Design of Organic Chromophores for Simultaneously Trig‐gering Redox Imbalance and Tracking Organelles in Biological Sys‐tems Under Near‐Infrared Light Irradiation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
TOC represents the synthesis of theory‐guided novel near‐infrared (NIR) light‐absorbing organic photosensitizers (OPS) enabling redox‐induced tumor phototherapy and single‐cell organelle tracking. ABSTRACT The design of organic photosensitizers that operate efficiently in the near‐infrared (NIR) region remains challenging due to the need to balance ...

Hybrid neural interpolation of a sequence of wind flows

open access: yesEngineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics
Rapid and accurate wind field prediction is essential for modeling particle transport in emergency scenarios. Traditional Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) approaches are too slow for real-time applications, necessitating surrogate models.

Engineered Microvascular Model of the Blood–Brain–Tumor Barrier Reveals Endothelial Remodeling in Diffuse Midline Glioma

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a patient‐derived, functional microfluidic model of the diffuse midline glioma (DMG) blood–brain–tumor barrier (BBTB) comprised of endothelial cells, astrocytes, pericytes, and tumor cells. The system forms perfusable microvasculature, reveals the BBTB retains vascular integrity, identifies DMG‐specific transcriptomic changes distinct from

Patterned ELR‐Gelatin Hydrogels Enable Rapid Endothelial Monolayer Formation via Bioactive Matrix Chemistry and Surface Topography

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Micro‐ and nano‐patterned elastin‐like recombinamer (ELR) hydrogels integrate bioactive matrix chemistry with defined surface topography. The combined cues promote rapid endothelial cell capture, alignment, and monolayer formation on soft substrates.

Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.

RiDBNet: Rotation-invariant dual-branch hierarchical network for 3D point cloud classification and segmentation

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Computer and Information Sciences
Existing 3D point cloud analysis methods prioritize translation and permutation invariance but generally lack systematic rotation-invariant encoding, degrading their performance on arbitrarily rotated 3D shapes.
