Canonical correlation analysis of laying, growth and blood biochemical traits of Shaoxing Duck
Canonical correlation analysis of three sets of variables including nine traits of Shaoxing Duck was performed. The results showed that the first canonical correlation coefficients between laying performance and growth rate (0.8422), as well as between ...

Generalized canonical correlation analysis with missing values [PDF]
Two new methods for dealing with missing values in generalized canonicalcorrelation analysis are introduced. The first approach, which does notrequire iterations, is a generalization of the Test Equating method availablefor principal component analysis ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Model-based approaches for partitioning subjective workload assessments [PDF]
Modified Petri nets (MPNs) were investigated as a workload modeling tool. The MPN model was screened for general sensitivity to changes in workloads. A canonical correlation was conducted between the MPN parameters and the workload ratings.

We introduce canonical correlation forests (CCFs), a new decision tree ensemble method for classification and regression. Individual canonical correlation trees are binary decision trees with hyperplane splits based on local canonical correlation coefficients calculated during training.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Correspondence analysis and categorical conjoint measurement [PDF]
We show the equivalence between the use of correspondence analysis (CA) of concadenated tables and the application of a particular version of conjoint analysis called categorical conjoint measurement (CCM).

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

CANONICAL CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC GROWTH AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE
The paper discusses the relationship between economic growth and the unemployment rate in Indonesia in each province in 2021. Both variables are considered as the dependent variable and there are 5 independent variables used in this research such as ...
