ABSTRACT Betel nut chewing is a major etiological factor for oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), yet its mechanistic underpinnings remain poorly defined. Here, we performed single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics from six OSCC patients to comprehensively dissect the tumor microenvironment (TME) dynamics and cellular heterogeneity ...

A Novel Technique for Semantic Segmentation of Hyperspectral Images Using Multi-View Features
This research presents an innovative technique for semantic segmentation of Hyperspectral Image (HSI) while focusing on its dimensionality reduction. A unique technique is applied to three distinct HSI landcover datasets, Indian Pines, Pavia University ...

Metabolic Regulation of Immune Responses: Molecular Mechanisms, Diseases, and Therapeutic Targets
FBP1 loss drives immune evasion and therapy resistance by enhancing glycolysis, STAT3 activation, and PD‐L1 expression, leading to T cell exhaustion and NK cell inhibition. FBP1 restoration, via LNP‐mRNA or epigenetic modulation, reverses these immunosuppressive effects, reactivates cytotoxic T cells, promotes M1 macrophage polarization, and enhances ...

Oxidative Stress and DNA Epigenetic Modifications in Cancer: Mechanisms and Targeted Therapeutics
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) modulate DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs), ten‐eleven translocation family proteins (TETs) and their cofactors, reshaping 5‐methylcytosine (5mC)/5‐hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC)/5‐formylcytosine (5fC) landscapes and gene expression in cancer cells. In turn, epigenetic control of antioxidant and metabolic pathways feeds back on

Instance-specific canonical correlation analysis
Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) is one of the most popular statistical methods to capture the correlations between two variables. However, it has limitations as a linear and global algorithm. Although some variants have been proposed to overcome the

Abstract High‐resolution, year‐long observations (2023–2024) were conducted in the Gulf of Oristano, a shallow semi‐enclosed basin on the western coast of Sardinia, to address the scarcity of sustained in situ measurements resolving sub‐seasonal coastal processes in the Mediterranean.

D-CCA: A Decomposition-Based Canonical Correlation Analysis for High-Dimensional Datasets
A typical approach to the joint analysis of two high-dimensional datasets is to decompose each data matrix into three parts: a low-rank common matrix that captures the shared information across datasets, a low-rank distinctive matrix that characterizes ...

Nigerian agricultural soils harbour diverse Streptomyces species producing novel antimicrobial secondary metabolites. Genomic mining revealed 187 biosynthetic gene clusters, leading to isolation of twelve new compounds with potent activity against multidrug‐resistant pathogens, including MRSA and vancomycin‐resistant Enterococcus. ABSTRACT Streptomyces
