KERNEL MAD ALGORITHM FOR RELATIVE RADIOMETRIC NORMALIZATION [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2016
The multivariate alteration detection (MAD) algorithm is commonly used in relative radiometric normalization. This algorithm is based on linear canonical correlation analysis (CCA) which can analyze only linear relationships among bands.

Woody Plant Diversity and Community Structure Along Elevational and Soil Gradients in Betula platyphylla Forests, Southeastern Tibetan Plateau. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
This study investigates the species composition, distribution, and diversity of Betula platyphylla forests in the Nyang River Basin in southeastern Tibet. The results show that elevation is the primary factor influencing species diversity in plant communities, with diversity indices significantly decreasing with increasing elevation.

Tensor canonical correlation analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) is a multivariate analysis technique for estimating a linear relationship between two sets of measurements. Modern acquisition technologies, for example, those arising in neuroimaging and remote sensing, produce data ...

The utility of canonical correlation analysis, coupled with target rotation, in coping with the effects of differential skewness of variables

open access: yesSA Journal of Industrial Psychology, 2006
The principal objective of the study was to determine the utility of canonical correlation analysis, coupled with target rotation, in coping with the effects of differential skewness of variables representing two batteries of tests.

Sparse tensor canonical correlation analysis for micro-expression recognition

open access: yes, 2016
A micro-expression is considered a fast facial movement that indicates genuine emotions and thus provides a cue for deception detection. Due to its promising applications in various fields, psychologists and computer scientists, particularly those focus ...

Using the Canonical Correlation Analysis Technique for Imaging Dimensionality Reduction in Multisource Land sat Images [PDF]

open access: yesالمجلة العراقية للعلوم الاحصائية, 2013
The Canonical Correlations Analysis technique (CCA) was suggested in the dimensionality reduction images for the multivariate multisource data applied in remote sensing . These techniques transform multivariate multiset data into new orthogonal variables

A Novel 1-D CCANet for ECG Classification

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
This paper puts forward a 1-D convolutional neural network (CNN) that exploits a novel analysis of the correlation between the two leads of the noisy electrocardiogram (ECG) to classify heartbeats. The proposed method is one-dimensional, enabling complex

A Long‐Lived Human Neurovascular PENTA Culture Model Captures Incomplete Vascular Repair and Glia‐Associated Signaling After Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A long‐lived, five‐cell‐type human neurovascular (PENTA) model recreates vascular disorganization and incomplete repair after traumatic brain injury (TBI). By integrating endothelial, glial, neuronal, and immune components within a 3D scaffold, the platform enables time‐resolved analysis of neurovascular remodeling and provides a human‐relevant system ...
