ON A GENERALIZATION OF CANONICAL QUANTIZATION
Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1987A study is made of Mackey's generalized quantization based on the concept of an imprimitivity system. Let G be a topological group (symmetry group) acting continuously on a transitive G-space X (the configuration space of a classical system). The structure of generalized imprimitivity systems is investigated in two cases: for a compact G and for G=X a ...

We employ the familiar canonical quantization procedure in a given cosmological setting to argue that it is equivalent to and results in the same physical picture if one considers the deformation of the phase-space instead.

The generalized model of relativistic particle is studied. Its action contains the term for a free particle of mass m together with an additional term proportional to the curvature of its world trajectory.

Path integral quantization corresponding to Faddeev-Jackiw canonical quantization
, 2007We analyze the structure of the Faddeev-Jackiw method and show that the canonical 2-form of the Lagrangian constructed in the last step of the Faddeev-Jackiw method is always nondegenerate.

Canonical Quantization of Light in a Linear Dielectric.
, 1991Quantization of the macroscopic electromagnetic field via effective susceptibilities leads to inconsistencies if the medium is dispersive. A canonical quantization scheme has to take explicit account of the matter field. By introducing a simple model for

On canonical transformations and quantization rules
Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1979We find that only linear and point canonical transformations are quantized into quantum canonical transformations. This result does not depend on the quantization procedure. We examine quantization rule invariance under linear and point canonical transformations and show that it holds only for special classes of phase-space functions.
