Canonical quantization of the electromagnetic field interacting with a moving dielectric medium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The electromagnetic field is canonically quantized in the presence of a linear, dispersive, and dissipative medium that is in uniform motion. Specifically we calculate the change in the normal modes of the coupled matter-field system and find a ...

C1q+ Macrophage–Tumor Cell Interaction Promoted Tumorigenesis via GPR17/PI3K/AKT Pathway Induced DNA Hypermethylation in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the TME of NPC, C1q secreted by C1q+ TAMs interacted with GPR17 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling through strengthening GPR17 coupling PI3K and increasing calcium levels in tumor cells. The activated PI3K/AKT signaling further induces DNA hypermethylation to promote the malignancy and stemness of tumor cells.

Quantization of symplectic fibrations and canonical metrics

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2023
We relate Berezin–Toeplitz quantization of higher rank vector bundles to quantum-classical hybrid systems and quantization in stages of symplectic fibrations. We apply this picture to the analysis and geometry of vector bundles, including the spectral gap of the Berezin transform and the convergence rate of Donaldson’s iterations toward balanced ...

Axion‐Like Interactions and CFT in Topological Matter, Anomaly Sum Rules and the Faraday Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This review investigates the connection between chiral anomalies and their manifestation in topological materials, using both perturbative methods based on ordinary quantum field theory and conformal field theory (CFT). It emphasizes the role of CFT in momentum space for parity‐odd correlation functions, and their reconstruction by the inclusion of a ...
