From apex to base: Uncovering spatial metabolic adaptation in Antarctic mosses
Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society, EarlyView.Antarctic mosses survive extreme cold, desiccation, UV exposure, and oxidative stress. We analyzed three species by separating apical, middle, and basal zones. Each zone showed distinct metabolite patterns and biological roles, revealing spatial metabolic specialization. Biological Diversity, EarlyView.We compared Landsat‐8 OLI, SPOT, and hyperspectral data for estimating vascular plant diversity in China's Hunshandak Sandland. SPOT data showed the strongest correlation with alpha diversity, followed by hyperspectral data, with Landsat‐8 performing the weakest.
