Two new species of Craterellus (Cantharellales, Hydnaceae) with veined hymenophore from north-eastern China [PDF]

open access: yesMycoKeys, 2022
In this contribution to the genus Craterellus in northern China, two new species are introduced: Craterellus connatus and C. striatus. These species and C. atrobrunneolus, initially described in south-western China, are highly similar and closely related. The species delimitation is molecularly supported by multigene phylogenetic analysis of the nr LSU

Characterization and phylogenetic analysis of the complete mitochondrial genome of Clavulina sp. (Cantharellales: Clavulinaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesMitochondrial DNA Part B, 2020
In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Clavulina sp. was sequenced and assembled. The complete mitochondrial genome of Clavulina sp. contains 20 protein-coding (PCG) genes, 2 ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes, and 25 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes. The total size of the Clavulina sp.

A new species of Craterellus (Cantharellales, Hydnaceae) from Guizhou Province, China [PDF]

open access: yesPhytotaxa, 2020
Craterellus albidus is proposed as a new species based on both morphological evidence and DNA analyses. Morphologically, Cr. albidus is characterized by its small-sized whitish pileus, smooth to slightly folded hymenium, white to lemon-yellow stipe, ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores with a size of 7.8–11 × 6.1–8.2 µm, and a cutis pileipellis.

Phylogenetic relationships of Rhizoctonia fungi within the Cantharellales [PDF]

open access: yesFungal Biology, 2016
Phylogenetic relationships of Rhizoctonia fungi within the order Cantharellales were studied using sequence data from portions of the ribosomal DNA cluster regions ITS-LSU, rpb2, tef1, and atp6 for 50 taxa, and public sequence data from the rpb2 locus for 165 taxa.

Primer registro de Clavulina fuscolilacina (Cantharellales, Basidiomycota) para México

open access: yesActa Botanica Mexicana, 2021

New lichen-associated bulbil-forming species of Cantharellales (Basidiomycetes)

open access: yesThe Lichenologist, 2014
AbstractTwo new genera and four new species of bulbil-forming basidiomycetes are described. Phylogenetic analyses of nuLSU and ITS sequences place them in Cantharellales. A facultative lichenicolous species with yellow to orange-yellow bulbils from South America groups with the type of Burgella and is consequently described as B. lutea. The new species

Sistotrema luteoviride sp. nov. (Cantharellales, Basidiomycota) from Finland

open access: yesActa Mycologica, 2013
A new Sistotrema species from Northern Finland, S. luteoviride is described and illustrated. The two hitherto known collections derive from Finnish Lapland and both grew on corticated Juniperus communis. The spores are very similar to those of S.

Six new species and reports of Hydnum (Cantharellales) from eastern North America [PDF]

open access: yesMycoKeys, 2018
Five species of Hydnum have been generally recognized from eastern North America based on morphological recognition: H.albidum, H.albomagnum, H.repandum and varieties, H.rufescens, and H.umbilicatum. Other unique North American species, such as H.caespitosum and H.washingtonianum, are either illegitimately named or considered synonymous with European ...

Multiclavula ichthyiformis (Fungi: Basidiomycota: Cantharellales: Clavulinaceae), a remarkable new basidiolichen from Costa Rica [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Botany, 2007
The new basidiolichen Multiclavula ichthyiformis Nelsen, Lücking, Umaña, Trest & Will‐Wolf is described from Costa Rica. The new species differs from other species of Multiclavula in having a basidiocarp with tomentose stipe and flattened lamina with nonamphigenous hymenium.
