Annual Research Review: Cash transfer programs and young people's mental health – a review of studies in the United States

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Volume 66, Issue 4, Page 498-515, April 2025.
Worldwide, more than one in 10 children or adolescents is diagnosed with a mental disorder. Quality Regulation and Unexpected Gaming: Evidence From Mandating Flight Delay Compensation

open access: yesJournal of Economics &Management Strategy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Policies that target a single aspect of agents' motivation may lead to their diminished efforts in other areas. This paper examines the effect of the European Union's flight delay compensation policy on flight on‐time performance by exploiting a unique policy variation in a difference‐in‐differences framework.

Climate Change, Demand Uncertainty, and Firms' Investments: Evidence from Planned Power Plants

open access: yesThe Journal of Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT How does demand uncertainty affect firms' investment decisions? We examine this question in the context of electricity‐producing firms' planned investments in new power plants. We measure uncertainty about future electricity demand using plausibly exogenous variation in temperature projections across scientific climate models. The results show

Selective glomerular hypofiltration is associated with glucometabolic disturbances in the general population

open access: yesJournal of Internal Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Discordance between cystatin C‐ and creatinine‐based estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) has been linked to adverse outcomes. A low eGFRcys/eGFRcr‐ratio, conceptualized as selective glomerular hypofiltration syndrome (SGHS), has been hypothesized to reflect early metabolic kidney vulnerability, although non‐glomerular ...

An efficient variable neighborhood search approach for the facility location problem with the limited choice rule

open access: yesInternational Transactions in Operational Research, Volume 33, Issue 6, Page 3905-3933, November 2026.
Abstract One of the most common problems in the expansion of a company consists of deciding the most appropriate locations for their facilities. This decision problem, known as the facility location problem, has been studied from different perspectives, considering a number of different constraints.

Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency Presenting With Severe Hyponatremia in an Elderly Patient With Primary Aldosteronism Suggesting Underlying Autonomous Cortisol Secretion

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Possible unrecognized cortisol autonomy in primary aldosteronism may suppress the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis. Under physiological stress, this may contribute to secondary adrenal insufficiency and severe hyponatremia. Clinicians should consider adrenal insufficiency in patients with primary aldosteronism presenting with unexplained ...

Delocalized Redox Framework of Indanthrone Enables Low‐Strain and Durable Mn2+/H+ Storage in Aqueous Batteries

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 15, 7 August 2026.
A high‐performance Mn2+/H+ hybrid aqueous battery is realized using an indanthrone cathode, exhibiting 85.5% capacity retention over 3000 cycles. The system features a low‐strain Mn2+/H+ storage mechanism where b‐axis expansion is balanced by contractions in the a and c‐axes.
