El objetivo primordial del trabajo será analizar la situación familiar de los alumnos con altas capacidades intelectuales. Para conseguirlo se ha realizado un estudio de campo cuya finalidad será conocer más acerca del entorno familiar de estas familias. Para ello se ha realizado un cuestionario online hacia un total de 290 destinatarios.
