Thermal capacitance matching in 3D many-core architectures
2011 27th Annual IEEE Semiconductor Thermal Measurement and Management Symposium, 2011While 3D stacked multi-processor technology offers the potential for significant computing advantages, these architectures also face with the significant challenge of small, localized hotspots with very large power dissipation due to the placement of asymmetric cores, heterogeneous devices and performance driven layouts.

Matched loads on waveguides with capacitance gap
2002 3rd International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2002. Proceedings. ICMMT 2002., 2003Electromagnetic parameters and fields of short-circuited pieces of complex cross section shaped waveguides with absorbing filling are analyzed numerically. Simulations are carried out at ISM frequencies 0.915 GHz and 2.45 GHz. The results obtained helped to find an appropriate absorber shape for the matched loads on waveguides with capacitance gap.

Tunable Multistage Matching Network for Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System
2021 IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference (WPTC), 2021This paper presents a tunable multistage matching network (TMMN) for compensating variations in large air-gap capacitive wireless power transfer (WPT). The proposed multistage matching network is employed with a variable capacitor, whose capacitance value is suitably modified to compensate for misalignments and distance variations between couplers ...

A systematic method to approximate capacitance ratios to improve capacitance matching in SC filters
Proceedings of the 20th annual conference on Integrated circuits and systems design, 2007A critical issue in the design of switched-capacitor (SC) filters is the capacitance matching, because the filter coefficients depend on capacitance relative values - capacitance ratios. The most successful design method to achieve an accurate capacitance matching employs a parallel arrangement of identical unit capacitors to implement each filter ...

Capacitated Rank-Maximal Matchings
2013We consider capacitated rank-maximal matchings. Rank-maximal matchings have been considered before and are defined as follows. We are given a bipartite graph \( G= (\mathcal{A} \cup \mathcal{P}, {\cal E})\), in which \(\mathcal{A}\) denotes applicants, \(\mathcal{P}\) posts and edges have ranks – an edge (a,p) has rank i if p belongs to (one of) a’s ...

Broadband Matching of a Capacitive Transducer to a Load
Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing, 2002The paper reports on a feasibility study of broadband matching of devices with resistive and capacitive components of the output impedance to active loads using conventional low-pass filters of different orders. The matching is impossible with Butterworth's classical filter whose frequency characteristic is made as at as possible.

Capacitance matching effects in negative capacitnace field effect transistor
2016 IEEE Silicon Nanoelectronics Workshop (SNW), 2016Negative capacitance effects are experimentally observed in p-type bulk MOSFET with PZT ferroelectric capacitor. The average subthreshold slope of 45 mV/decade at 300 K is experimentally demonstrated with 105 on-/off-current ratio and minimal hysteresis window of 0.2 V, albeit at relatively high drain voltage.

A Matching Based Exact Algorithm for Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problems
ORSA Journal on Computing, 1995A branch and bound algorithm for capacitated vehicle routing is described. Lower bounds are derived by relaxing the subtour elimination and vehicle capacity constraints to yield a perfect b-matching problem. Bounds are strengthened by using Lagrange multipliers to enforce subtour elimination and capacity constraints. Computational results are reported

Improving SNDR and SFDR in Capacitive DACs using Match Enhancement
2019 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2019The power consumption of moderate resolution SAR ADCs, commonly used in IoT applications such as implantable medical devices and wireless sensor nodes, is often limited by capacitor matching requirements. This paper presents an experimental realization of match enhancement, a technique that reduces the variation of binary-weighted capacitors by ...

Automatic placement of identical unit capacitors to improve capacitance matching
2009 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2009Capacitance matching is a critical issue in several analog and mixed-signal designs such as switched-capacitor filters, A/D and D/A converters. Using identical unit capacitors in parallel to implement each capacitor in the design, combined with a careful layout, is the best technique to achieve a good capacitance matching.
