Design of Microstrip Inter-Digital Capacitor Using Particle Swarm Optimization

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development
In this work, an inter-change capacitor design is developed using the particle swarm optimization technique. The PSO improves the inter-digital capacitor filter characteristics by varying capacitance geometry parameters.

Application of capacitance resistance models to determining interwell connectivity of large-scale mature oil fields

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2017
In view of the problems existing in the application of Capacitance Resistance Models (CRMs) to large-scale mature oil fields, Capacitance Resistance Model for Producers (CRMP) was selected for analysis, a simplified procedure for applying CRMP to large ...

The capacitated plant location problem with customers and suppliers matching [PDF]

open access: yesTransportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, 2010
Abstract This paper introduces a new problem called the capacitated plant location problem with customer and supplier matching (CLCSM). The product distribution from plants to customers and the material supply from suppliers to plants are considered together.

Synchronized charge extraction circuit for electret‐based vibration energy harvester

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2023
Impedance matching is one outstanding issue for the electret‐based vibration energy harvester (eVEH) due to its small equivalent capacitance. In this paper, the authors developed a synchronized charge extraction (SCE) circuit for eVEH, to improve its ...

Coupling of Josephson flux-flow oscillators to an external RC load

open access: yes, 1996
We investigate by numerical simulations the behavior of the power dissipated in a resistive load capacitively coupled to a Josephson flux flow oscillator and compare the results to those obtained for a d.c. coupled purely resistive load.

Generating All Two-MOS-Transistor Amplifiers Leads to New Wide-Band LNAs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
This paper presents a methodology that systematically generates all 2-MOS-transistor wide-band amplifiers, assuming that MOSFET is exploited as a voltage-controlled current source. This leads to new circuits.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.
