Load Observing System Based on Wave Reflection for Soft-Switching Control of MHz-Frequency Resonant Inverter Against Load Fluctuations

open access: yesIEEE Access
Applying MHz-frequency inverters to radio frequency (RF) power sources for plasma applications has been challenging because capacitive loads caused by load fluctuations cause destructive hard-switching.

High Performance Broadband Capacitive Coupler for Partial Discharge Cable Tests

open access: yes, 2013
[EN] Partial discharge (PD) cable field tests require the use of high frequency sensors coupled to the cable for PD apparent charge evaluation. PD sensors can be coupled to the cable by magnetic field, like high frequency current transformers, or by ...

Kinetics‐Controlled Architecture of Binder‐Free Organic Electrodes for Enhanced Ion Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Pulse reverse electrodeposition controls nucleation and growth to create hierarchically porous Py‐derived oligomeric electrodes with enhanced ionic accessibility and reduced transport resistance. The resulting binder‐free architectures translate these transport advantages into practical sodium‐storage functionality.

CO2‐to‐CO Conversion in a Gas‐Fed, Zero‐Gap, PEM Electrolyzer Enabled by Polycations and Nitrogen‐Doped Carbon‐Supported Cobalt Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A gas‐fed, zero‐gap, PEM CO2 electrolyzer is realized by incorporating PDDA+ ions onto the carbonaceous Co/N‐C electrocatalyst, with gaseous H2 and CO2 fed into the anode and cathode, respectively. Operating without an aqueous electrolyte, the system sustains a peak FECO of 65.1% at 100 mA cm−2. ABSTRACT Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (ECO2R)

Decoupling the Size and Loading Effects in Silver Nanoparticles for Efficient Paired Carbon Dioxide and Formaldehyde Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We investigate size‐dependent CO selectivity on Ag nanoparticles, where optimized Ag loading achieves nearly 100% Faradaic Efficiency for CO at −100 mA·cm−2. In situ SERS and XPS reveal the crucial role of optimized loading in catalytic performance. The Ag/C catalyst further exhibits bifunctional activity, enabling efficient electrolysis of CO2 and ...
